What Makes Our Flowers Different?

Locally grown flowers are cut at the last possible moment to meet your event or purchase timing. It's hard to explain how amazing fresh-cut flowers are! When you compare local blooms to those that have been shipped hundreds of miles in tight boxes, there really is no contest. We use proper and appropriate post-harvest care methods and avoid dangerous chemicals. We grow and nurture uncommon and uncommonly beautiful flowers. We have extensive collections of flowers, and we're always adding more to the farm. From romantic sweet peas to sunflowers - our flowers are anything but ordinary.

How Does a Flower CSA Work?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. The idea is that community members support their local farmers and families by purchasing a seasonal subscription.

In this case, you would be purchasing a Flower CSA Subscription (or share) of seasonal flowers. By investing in your local farmer, you provide the funds upfront to help cover overhead expenses. This includes everything from bulbs, seeds, irrigation supplies, soil preparation, and anything else needed for growing beautiful flowers. In exchange for your initial investment, you receive locally grown, pesticide-free flowers.

Our bouquet shares will be available for pick up seasonally at the Farm. Wrapped in paper and held in water until you pick them up - you simply get the beautiful blooms, and never have to acquire multiple unused vases!

Payment options are easiest on our website, at checkout. Where we do have an option to add a special mason jar vase if you like.

What is Available?

Our Flower Shares, Farm Fresh Bouquets, and event flowers are all seasonal. This means all flowers and products will be fresh off the farm that growing season! From rare specialty tulips and fragrant narcissus in the spring to summer peonies, lavender, zinnias, and cosmos, then dahlias, specialty sunflowers, and heirloom pumpkins in the fall, we grow them all!

Slow Flower Movement

The majority of flowers sold in the U.S. are imported, sprayed with toxic chemicals, and travel for days on planes and trucks to reach you. Eventually, they make their way to your hands, but this journey negatively impacts the flowers, farmers, and our environment.

Slow flowers is the movement supporting seasonal, local flowers and the people who grow them. Think farm-to-table but for flowers! Just as we think about locally and sustainably grown food, we can think about flowers in a similar way. Know your farmer, know your flowers.
